About us

My name is Jason Wiebe.  I’m married to my super model wife Stephanie.  Together we are raising 2 young warrior men, Noah and Levi, who keep us running, loving and forever changing.

Dr. Jay and Stephanie Wiebe

I am a chiropractor.

Being a chiropractor is not a job for me, it’s my calling.  I’ve always believed that you must have a passion for what you do. I believe that whatever each of us is passionate about reflects what we are convinced of and what we are willing to dedicate our lives to.

I’m passionate about chiropractic, but not the way most people know chiropractic.  A number of years ago I realize that the story was a much more interesting story than I was first taught.  Chiropractic, as I’ve discovered, is a lifestyle choice focused on creating health, not on treating disease.  I’m learning how true this is - more and more everyday.

My passion is lived out by leading families to be fully alive through the principles of chiropractic. I do not believe that anyone is condemned to live out a life of being sick and full of disease.  I have experienced sickness in my own life and am now equally as passionate about living up to my full God-given potential.  My goal is to bring as many families with me as I can to discover health as God intended – fully alive!

My desire to serve as a chiropractor started at a very young age with an unstoppable fascination with what went on inside the human body.  I marveled at the complexity of what I saw, and wanted to know all that I could. It wasn’t until I ’stumbled’ upon the principles of chiropractic during my university studies that I became aware of just how powerful this re-discovery has been for the world.

After graduating high school from a private boarding school, I completed 5 years of undergraduate studies (Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science) in British Columbia where the majority of my studies focused on Biology and Chemistry. I then relocated to Toronto, Ontario to attend the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, and after 4 years of study in Toronto I graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic.

In 2002 I began serving as a chiropractor in Toronto. It was after several years of successfully practicing in Toronto that I began to listen to the persistent voice in my head calling me to ‘go west young man’. So, in April of 2005, we relocated to beautiful Kelowna BC and have thoroughly embraced the many benefits of living in a region that offers such pristine beauty, recreational activity and  community.

When I’m not at the office adjusting I’m probably with my family either swimming, running, playing golf, tennis, resting or trying something new that my wife wishes I wouldn’t do.  For the last few years I’ve been traveling to both Africa and the Dominican Republic to serve the people there through Chiropractors with Compassion.  I plan on doing that for the rest of my life, with the people that I love the most, because those people have changed my entire life and shown me a world that is so much more rich and abundant.

At the end of my life I want to be remembered as someone who knew he was greatly blessed, highly favored and deeply loved.  I will forever serve God by serving people with all the passion and limitless fervor that I can!

CARA Reinelt

My name is Cara and I am a Chiropractic Health Assistant.
I love saying that. I love it because I get to go to work every day and help people. Not in the cheesy way that you’re probably thinking - I mean, really help people. Working in the TRUE health care field of chiropractic has taught me that each day and every adjustment is a new opportunity to have a fully functioning, happier, healthier life.

Before Summit I was a medical office assistant in several offices throughout Kelowna. After years of seeing the same people in and out the door of doctors offices really no better than when they started, I began to ask myself if there was something else… a different way to approach health and healing. I have worked for Summit Chiropractic and Dr. Jason Wiebe since 2007, and I’ve found the answer to that question.

Growing up in Salmon Arm, I knew I wanted to be a nurse, lab tech or any other medical professional (with the exception of a brief period of time at 17 when I wanted to be a dolphin trainer at SeaWorld) and originally moved to Kelowna in 1995 to go to school. After putting off my studies for a while, I eventually completed the Medical Office Assistant program in 1999.

In 2007 I was working in walk-in clinic and was stressed out. Really stressed out. Under the care of another great chiropractor at the time, I left after an adjustment one day and thought, “this is where I need to be…at a place like this. They seem so fired up and passionate about what they do.” That same night my husband let me know of a chiropractic office in town looking for help. So yes, I truly believe that Summit and I were made for each other.

I met Mark, my handsome husband, in 1997, married (with a collective “it’s about time” from almost everyone) in 2004 and have been blissfully happy ever since.

We have been fortunate to travel to Mexico, Germany, Italy and the Dominican Republic and love seeing this big, beautiful world (Mark has a thing for foreign grocery stores - they fascinate him).

I love travelling but absolutely enjoy coming home to the Okanagan. This is my home, my family and friends live here and I feel truly blessed each and every day in my ongoing journey to ”maintain alignment”.  I look forward to meeting you.

Seeing people live life to their full potential is what I love most. I worked several years as a fitness trainer and in that time I found so much joy watching peoples’ hard work pay off as their bodies changed, their energy sky rocketed and their self confidence improved. However, it didn’t take long before I realized that in order to live a fully healthy life it takes much more than simply being able to do push ups. While it does indeed involve fitness, ensuring that the nervous system is in line, practicing proper nutrition as well as emotional and spiritual health are equally important. That is why I love Summit Chiropractic! Every aspect of health and wellness is being lived out within our office and in turn pours out into our community. I’m so blessed to be a part of a team that shares the same passion.

So, how did I get to where I am now? Well, it all started 11 years ago when my older brother introduced me to weight lifting. I lifted weights throughout high school and began learning how to live a healthier life. After high school, unsure of what my purpose was I began working with my dad in the glazing trade. I worked my way up in the company and in each position I was in I always found myself encouraging fellow employees to workout and to live a healthier lifestyle. After several years I was on a great career path as a project manager. Everything seemed to be lining up yet I began to feel unfulfilled in my job. After spending much time in prayer I began to feel called to move to Kelowna and begin my journey working as a fitness trainer and health educator with my brother. This calling overwhelmed me with joy and the passion has grown ever since.

As my own health improved, my inspiration grew as well. I lived with many allergies and skin afflictions throughout my childhood. Medical Doctors told me that they would never go away and i would have to learn to live with them.  As I learned what true health looks like through a vitalistic lens my conditions diminished. I began seeking God for healing in my body through prayer and good stewardship. I began getting regular adjustments, exercising for health rather than for looks and eating real foods which were made for me to eat. As a result, my allergies and skin affliction are almost 100% gone!! This deliverance has helped fuel my passion because I know that healing is absolutely possible.
My strongest desire is to see generations of happy, healthy families living strong. Not held back by preventable dis-eases, not masking ailments with pills, but living the life that will not only prevent these dis-eases, but also take them away.
Aside from working the dream job I spend lots of time with my dream girl, Allie. We both enjoy fitness, in fact, we met when she attended one of my fitness classes. We share many of the same interests: running, hiking, biking, roller blading, almost anything active and outdoorsy. I enjoy all sports, especially hockey (playing, not watching), heading out into the bush for “roughing it” stye camping and exploring. I also love to spend time with family and am always seeking a deeper relationship with God.
